what IS A SUMMER SHARE?
The summer share is flexible
and can be
tailored to your household’s needs. Weekly
distributions consist of rationed and
un-rationed produce, so you can take
what you like and leave what you don’t.
There are 10 to 20 different items
available each week, plus u-pick
options, most of which are unlimited.
When we say unlimited we mean it!
what IS INCLUDED IN A

at $4 per dozen. The season cost is $104

what IS A WINTER SHARE?
The winter share is delicious and hearty,
consisting
of the stored bounty of summer, as well as greens
from the field and passive greenhouses. Being a
winter shareholder is a powerful way to connect
to your local food source and eat with the season.
The share will include (but not all at once):
potatoes, carrots, onions, leeks, beets, cabbage,
celeriac, parsnips, turnips, rutabagas, winter
radishes, and - GREENS! (for as long as possible).
For the 1st part of the winter season we'll have
kale and collards from the fields, and later on
greens from the passive-solar winter greenhouse.
The winter share will consist of roughly enough
food for two adults and several children,
depending on how much everyone eats.

how
are the SHARES PRICED?
Shares are sold by household. The farm offers
a bounteous harvest and members partake
of this bounty, some families need more, some
need less. The share price is a reflection
of how much it costs to sustainably run
the farm rather than a dollar value of each vegetable.
Because of the high quality
and low price of the share, shared shares
are not allowed, except in special
circumstances. If you like to eat fresh
healthy food at a good price, you will be
a happy member of our CSA.
